The Super’Brand’Bowl

Congratulations to the New Orleans Saints, Super Bowl 44 Champs!
While Drew Brees was named the MVP, the real winners are still left to be determined.
Let us know what commercials you think will have the best ROI and brand recognition:

Corporate Identity and Branding

Considering our economic times, every detail in your marketing efforts needs to be consistently following the same message.  This will help with branding and name recognition.  Branding and your overall corporate identity could be difference between getting a new customer and losing a potential customer.

Putting all referalls aside, where can people see your message or brand? Do your Facebook and LinkedIn pages emulate your website? Is your logo consistent on your business cards, letter head, and other promotional products? Where else? Billboards, print advertising, online ads; are these all consistent? Are you doing these?

It’s been estimated that the average consumer will be exposed to approximately  5,000 advertisements per day. Why will your brand and/or message stand out?

Consistency and being able to brand yourself creativley is the answer.

DIY Decals can help. See what we can do for you!

Happy Hump Day!

Well Wednesdays at DIY Decals + Signs are pretty busy.  Working to meet deadlines, meetings throughout the day and finishing up some odds and ends.  I’ve managed to incorporate our blog to our Fan Page, so now everyone can keep up with all the latest DIY news right from facebook!  Check it out over there to the right. ———————–>

In finishing up some projects, here’s a look at all 3 Three Olives snowboards that Eddie designed.

In other news, we’ve been working on a new and improved website (which I’m extremely excited about) that will not only feature a lot more of what we do, but will allow customers to create an account and check and see the status of their order, order online and more.  It will be a huge service for not only our customers, but for us as well.

Who’s working on our site you ask? We’re using the ever talented work of Kate Peterson.  If the name rings a bell, it’s probably because Kate is also in the folk group Nervous but Excited, who recently played at the Ann Arbor Folk Fest.

That’s all for today, enjoy!

Social Media revamp day 1

Today we started a new foucs on social media marketing.  This blog being one of the new features as well as updating our facebook fan page and our twitter account.

Considering there’s so many different things we do, other than just printing posters and business cards (what people generally think of) I wanted to start off by showing what we’re working on today.

Yep, that’s a new custom snowboard Eddie designed for Three Olives!  This is the stuff we love to do.  We’ve also got some custom 1800 Tequilla “Cornhole” boards and so many more cool things.

I’m really looking forward to sharing more of what we do here at DIY Decals + Signs, keeping you up to date on the latest industry trends and sharing your feedback with others.

See you tomorrow!
